Honor Our Veterans by Educating Our Children

Nothing can be extra endearing to a veteran than seeing a toddler’s eye dancing with delight as they watch a nylon American Flag freely waving. There can be no higher option to honor veterans than by exhibiting our current era the way to appreciate and love our nation and its image, the American Flag.

As a father or mother who has a child’s automotive seat usually stuffed with a grandchild I have discovered an exquisite automobile game, that of looking for our American flag in all places we drive. Just this one little sport alone has made a huge difference with my children. They wantto buy an American flag.thTey need their dad and mom to have an outdoor american flag, they need garments with flags on them, they want a flag on the window of their car, and so they need a flag in their bedrooms. I’ve taught my kids that the purple, white and blue, stars and stripes is “their” flag.

Children have a strong need to belong. As we speak now we have too many kids unsure of where they belong. Households are cut up aside; people transfer often, parents leave children behind for a variety of reasons, and none of this is smart to children. Having an American flag symbolize to babies that they belong to something massive, a giant family of Americans, gives them a way of pleasure and security. Simply falling in love with their flag at an early age offers a strong basis to construct American delight and appreciation as kids develop.

With the long run era of People being born at this time, we every have an opportunity to impress upon young youngsters the story of those that have made America great. Once a child learns to love their flag, seeing it wherever, particularly on an exclusive day that honors veterans makes telling the Veterans Day story personal as it comes alive to a child.
